As the Head of the Basic Science and Humanities Department, it gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome. We believe that engineering education is not just about technical skills but also about fostering a well-rounded and holistic approach to problem solving.
Our department with highly educated, talented and dedicated faculty and staff members is the backbone of engineering education, plays a pivotal role in providing a strong foundation for all engineering disciplines. We firmly believe that a solid grasp of fundamental principles in science, mathematics, and humanities enriches our students' abilities to tackle complex engineering challenges with creativity and resilience.

Core Courses: We offer a diverse range of core courses that cover subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Communication Skills, Economics, Constitution of India, Principle of Managements etc. These courses are to complement the technical curriculum, enabling students to comprehend the broader implications of their engineering work.
Academic Support: We take pride in providing personalized academic support to students who might find certain subjects more challenging. Our dedicated faculty members are always available for one-on-one consultations and tutoring sessions to ensure every student can excel in their studies.
