Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering at Future Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Our Department started in the year of 2014. Over the years, we have grown our expertise and competence as per the government requirement in the core of Electrical Engineering and Research.
We have signed MoUs with industries to work on live challenges. The industry-oriented undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering with industrial exposure in the form of internships and filed visits, prepares the students as per the industrial expectation.
The primary aim of our curriculum is to impart technical skills to students, promote their problem-solving skills and innovation of new technologies. Department offers large number of elective courses for providing wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interest and focus on the inter-disciplinary choice of optional papers, which provides the students with a holistic knowledge-base while making them industry-ready.
This department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded in their respective research fields. Not only do they provide a solid grounding in the academic theories and concepts of their specialty, they also provide the students challenges facing their discipline. They prepare the students with the right balance of theory and practice. We emphasize team work to give opportunity to each student to benefit from the ideas and intelligence of their classmates.
