UNICORN 2025
UNiTRON’25 – 6th Edition (from 02/05/2025 to 04/05/2025)| A Celebration of Innovation and Creativity
The 6th edition of UNiTRON, the annual tech fest of Future Institute of Technology, was held from 2nd to 4th May 2025, and stood as a spectacular showcase of student innovation, talent, and teamwork. With the thrilling Spider-Verse theme woven throughout, UNiTRON’25 transformed the campus into a multiverse of energy, intellect, and entertainment.
The event featured an exciting lineup of competitions, including high-intensity Robotics challenges like Robo Combat, Death Race, and Robo Kick, alongside engaging Fun Events such as Tech Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Span the Gap, Hurdle Race, and Photography. The festival also catered to tech enthusiasts and gamers with events in Coding, and a series of high-stakes Gaming tournaments in BGMI, PES, Valorant, FIFA, Free Fire, and more.
The electrifying Carnival Zone, delicious food stalls, and vibrant merchandise corners brought everyone together in celebration. None of this would have been possible without our incredible Education Partners – Euphoria and Ardent, Food Partners – Pizza Hut, KFC, Waffle Faw, Wow Lebanese, Hungry Food, and Stall Partners – Sakura indo k-pop store, Pretty Little Things. Departmental Achievements
The department is involved in a National level project with National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Indian Council of Agricultural & Research (NINFET, ICAR). This project has been started since 2nd March, 2022. The director of this project Dr. Rakesh Ghosh with his team from NINFET, conducted many experiments till date and this project work will continue for few more years.
