The central computing facilities along with special purpose and departmental ones consist of state-of-the-art computer labs with 900 Core 2 Duo H.P. computers and high configuration servers, connected through LAN with dedicated 16 Mbps leased internet connectivity.
The institute has identified communication and language development needs of students as a major thrust area, to enable them to acquire effective interpersonal skills relevant to their future workplace. A full-fledged Communication and Language Laboratory has been set up with this objective, with professional tie-ups.
A dedicated cell in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has been set up at the institute to provide active assistance in entrepreneurship development. It conducts regular Entrepreneurship Development programmes for the students as well as for the local youth on a merit basis.
