The department has well-equipped labs with Linux and MS Windows Operating Systems. The students in the department are trained in the use of much open-source software during the duration of their course. The department organises various lectures, seminars and workshops on the latest emerging topics of the day. This enables students as well as faculty members to update their knowledge and keep abreast of modern-day technology and trends. Faculty members and students are encouraged in all academic activities with easy access to all possible resources. The students are also encouraged to take up live IT and interdisciplinary projects at an early stage with the help of efficient resource persons.
